I was Born in North Miami Beach moved to Manhattan when I was 2 and then moved to Perú when I was 8, my grandparents from my dad's side were italian and my mom's peruvian...believe it or not, I have three active passports, united states, european commonwealth and peruvian, although I use only my american passport which was issued in Paris because I was so out of my mind that I went there with an expired passport, the french police kept me for 18 hours locked on a windowless cell before alowing me to hit the embassy to get a new passport...it's funky to see an american passport with all the information in french..."expedité au france pour le american ambassé" :eyespop:

I sometimes feel like Manu Chao, a man with no land and I like it that way just fine, nacionalism always reminded me of nazism for some weird reason, I consider myself a citizen of the world...I love all nationalities but I have a weakness for brazilian girls and japanese food...best when served together...domo arigato muito bom! ;)

I moved from Perú back to Miami on 1989 and lived 10 years in Miami Lakes, I've been living at South Beach for 5 years now.

Nice thread!

Yummy, yummy...I love Miami!

i had my humble beginnings in a hospital called Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, though i did not live in Louisville. i lived in Fort Knox, Kentucky. very boring and dready place. my father was an officer in the armored corps of the army. a tank commander from 1981 - 1992.

my mum went off on her with me to medical school to become a doctor. medical school is one of the hardest degrees you can study for, so i was in day care a lot of time. we lived in a small apartment in downtown louisville. i had a no father void and i saw my mother for a few hours a day. getting up in the morning and being picked up at the day care at midnight. my muther eventually got her degree but with 80k in student loans which have ballooned to 160k for being in default, and she joined the air force where i moved around and finally im here in tampa where she works at macdill air force base.

i missed my father but never got to see him. and to this day its been the same. he remarried and raised another family and i was relegated to the background, because his new wife is jealous of me.
