I have this set on repeat. Masssssive chillness. I'm on the Wavy Gravy mash-up again. Way to utilize Ableton :)

For all of you who said that Sasha was ing up by switching to Ableton... blow me. This set owns your mother's face. :whip:

Maybe I have to listen to this more, but as of right now I have mixed feelings about this set... aside from the first track the first 25 minutes were pretty brutal IMO, although I guess those tracks set up the rest of the 2 hr set quite well. He could have done something way cooler with the wavy gravy sample. As the second half progresses some of the tracks are def stellar and I suppose the set succeeds as a whole...

however all in all this doesn't hold a candle to the S & D essential mix from last year.

personally I like his music and sets much much more when he was playing cd's and records.

anyone out there think sasha is putting too much rock into his sets? way too much vocals for my taste.

DIGGERS IS OWNING HIM RIGHT NOW :p

I am not sure how to react. What type of music is this in the first place, sort of downtempo/breaks, house... I am still trying to find out the concept behind his mixing using software...are the turntables not involved at all?? Definately not something I would listen to while getting on with my day, I'd rather hear it at night...dunno
