I used to work in an Argentinean restaurant. We had 3 aiolis.
Garlic, chimichurri (sp) and a bell pepper ( i cant remember the name!) Bless the woman who came in at 4 in the morning everday to hand make the crust. |

I make empanadas. I have made all different types even sandwich style empanadas.
Here are ones I have made in the past:
Beef and cheese
Beef and Rice
Chicken and Cheese
Chicken Bacon on Cheese
Fried Tukey ham and Cheese (almost like a spanish version of a hot pocket ;)) |

My girlfriends' parents are from Chili, so my mother in law makes them a lot! Take them with a bit of chilli sauce (no pun intended) and you can't resist :D |

| I am not spanish but I learned how to make them from Dominicans and Puetro Ricans (had alot of spanish bf's in the past and always helped theyre moms cook ;) ) |

the best places to buy them are the $1 cart on the side of the road type of things....
with either some kids making them, or some prehistoric latin grandmother.
my fav is the Empanada de Chapin (a type of fish) |
