Since there are so many graphics people on TA I thought I might give you guys a heads up on a job opportunity at the company I work for. If you are interested PM me and I will give you my contact info. Please send your resume and online portfolio once I give you the info.
This is a f/t contract position until the end of the year with possibility of extension. You'll be doing a lot of flash and web layout stuff but also content updates on occasion. You are expected to have at least 1-2 years of experience in the industry. Great working environment and best of all you get to hang out with me. :D
Btw, I'm not the one doing the hiring, it will be my manager. She will contact you for an interview if she likes your resume and portfolio.

Duties will include:
• Providing layout and design expertise for web products and applications
• HTML and CSS editing of existing content and web page/site creation
• Creating Flash ads and demos
• Programming as required
• Ad management support
• Loading and posting of magazine content
Required Skills:
• Strong creative design skills in the web environment and an expert user of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
• Familiar with user interface design principles
• Confident CSS knowledge
• Proficient with HTML and FrontPage
• Familiar with programming languages such as ASP & JavaScript a bonus
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment with multiple and changing priorities
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working in a team environment and able to work confidently in an independent capacity
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality work |
