Ok I've never bought a music DVD before so I thought I'd give it a try and found the Nick Warren's Ibiza DVD. Here's a review of this 2 disc package which at the moment is only available in Region 2 PAL format...
Disc 1 has got the complete Nick Warren set with a video footage... Disc 2 A side has Saeed & Palash @ Miami video, interviews of Paul van Dyk, Timo Maas, Danny Tenaglia & Saeed & Palash and Disc 2 B side has got the Nick Warren set in CD audio.
First I watched the interviews of PvD & others. They weren't even half as good as what I expected. They all had a large black & white background and the video itself is inside a small box. Besides this the interviews are too short. I was disappointed in them.
The Nick Warren video is the set he played in Ibiza sometime last year. The set is complete but you can only see Nick Warren a couple of times for a very short period. That sucks... The video has far too much animation and footage taken outside the club where Nick actually plays his set. The animations and effects are well done, but if I buy a Nick Warren video I want to see Nick Warren, not those animations you can see in every club out there.
However, what the video shows pretty well is the spirit of Ibiza, the fact how people party there day & night.
The Saeed & Palash video on Disc 2 has some nice footage from Miami, but the music isn't for my taste really.
For those of you who might have been thinking of buying this I would advise you to save your money for something else. If you want to see animations while listening music you can download a free conductor plugin for Winamp. This product didn't really impress me much...
