El Verano: A Tribute to Summer

Hey everyone! I've been away from TA for the past few weeks on tropical vacation, and will continue to be for a bit longer. The offline isolation has cut me from my favorite forum (hence my absence), but inspired this set, which I managed to upload.
The days are growing long, the nights warm. Dance music again prepares as summer approaches. This mix evokes the annual Balearic dream, weaving tropical guitar riffs and upbeat rhythms. Let your mind drift.
All vinyl, about 130min in 192kbps, 180MB. Hope you enjoy.

I didn't really like the first 6 tracks, but after it was beautyful.
Thanks for sharing. |

Yeah, I know. Summersault goes into Breezer much too late, Acapulco wrecks for a second or two out of Scorchio, and some of the last few transitions are a bit shoddy, among some other errors. But you have to start somewhere. :p
Thanks for the feedback. Usually I spin darker, moodier stuff; I'll post another set in that style maybe a month or so from now. |

Here you could have brought Scorchio in with an increase in treble, starting out dark and rising quickly.
Also, some of the tracks have uneven EQ and volume settings. Remember to check the volume/EQ on the songs before you mix in.
Overall, it's a nice collection of tracks. But you'll have to practice your transitions more. :) |

I know this sounds like an excuse, but I actually intended to bring in Scorchio abruptly, so as to kick up the energy a notch. |
