I finally got mine through the post last week, although I cant remember exactly why I ordered them.

f you have an O2 (Genie) Sim Card that gives 300 free texts per month as long as you top-up with £10 every month then here is the procedure for getting the free texts WITHOUT having to top-up!!
1. Firstly you must have the O2 sim card installed into your mobile phone (it has to be the included 300 texts per month tariff)
2. Once you have topped your sim card up with some credit you will find you
have the following;
£10 worth of talk time,
300 wap minutes,
300 texts.
3. Take notice of what date it is on your mobile phone when you top up.
4. Use your phone as normal for that month or until you run out of texts.
5. Once you have run out of texts, reset the date on your mobile phone to the date when you first topped up and DONT USE YOUR PHONE THAT DAY!!
(meaning don’t make a connection with anyone with your mobile but leave turned on!!)
7 The next day you can change your date settings back to normal.
8 Now all you have to do is wait for the new month and you will receive a message from o2 saying & quot;THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP,YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300 TEXT MESSAGES & quot;
9 IMPORTANT!! It doesn’t matter where in that month you run out of texts. You only (ONLY!) get a maximum of 300 texts per month so make sure
you don’t run out halfway through the month as you will have to wait till the start of the new month to get your free 300 texts.

| i prefer my orange contact, 2 hours anytiem any network calls, 240 free txts all for £25 a month, though the contact ends this month and i plan to get a better deal from someone (the mobile phone market is soo competitive atm im sure i will) |

I dunno what the trick is but I seem to have pulled it off without trying. I top up every 8-9 weeks on average and get unlimited texts.
There's a free pay-as-you-go minutes scheme at work too, I'm eligable in a month and if I get to keep my texts I'm going to be laughing :stongue: |
