WHERE IS Riva - Stringer in the BEST TRACKS???

how come there's tracks which havent been released, and tracks from last year, like airwave - innerspace
but one of the hugest tracks of the year, played by EVERYONE
riva - stringer
is nowhere to be found??????????????? |

I gotta agree with you there, Patticus... that is definitly one of the best tunes this year... I hate the new version with Danni Minogue on the vocals... but the Original Mix is SUPERB!!! I wonder why he didn't put it on the list? Maybe he forgot? I mean, some of the stuff that was listed on there like.... ATB - Let U Go???? UGH! :-)

I just need to clarify something:
It was not me that chose the tracks or selected them, they were nominated by all TA's in a thread i had running in the music discussion forum for a number of days (enough for the regular TA's to have their say). Also some people have made comments about the differences in tracky quality in each of the heats. The tracks were allocated to heats RANDOMLY, meaning i didnt deliberately make some harder or easier than the others.
If Riva - Stringer was such a huge tune then why did NO ONE even mention it in the nominations. You only have yourself to blame patticus for it not being in there, as if anyone nominated Stringer it would be in the heats. Sorry, but you have no reason to complain. |

sure i have reason to complain. not enough TAs knew about it. especially the older TAs, that much is obviously from the ty track selection in the heats, even though as you say, the heat allocation is not your fault.
im complaining more with the overall mediocre quality of the tracks, and the fact that several of them are either 'just being played' and not released yet, or NOT FROM 2001!!!! |

NB. Stringer was out in 2000 (in fact it was on the clubbers bible compilation CD which was released Nov 2000)
and yes there were a few crappy selection that were availible to vote for, but its our faults for not being arsed to put forward nominations, so stop moaning :P |

anyways stringer was a 2001 release.
by your logic, i could say airwave - innerspace was a 1999 track
why not just throw out of the blue, children, and xpander up there? |

hmmmm....yeah i see what youre saying. Well i tell you what, ill make a compromise. YOU make a thread asking people what songs they feel shouldve definately been in the polls, and then make a heat 11, im fine with that. But only run it for 5 days, cos thats all thats left in the other polls. I'll also omit any songs that werent released in 2001 from going to the next round, so let me know which ones they were. Cos youre a TA veteran Patticus itd be good to use your help.
And stop it Coup, youre making me hungry....!! :)
