E3 & The Video Gaming Console Systems of 2005-2006

Any video game lovers out there? E3 2005 is over (Or almost is) and the three new video game consoles will be available sometime this year or the next (Xbox 360 - November 2005) (Nintendo Revolution - TBA) (Playstation 3 Spring 2006).
www.ign.com has been keeping up with the news as of late with all 3 systems as well as the new games coming to us within 2005-2006. RPGamer has given some specs on the upcoming systems.

So what do you gamers think of the systems? Tired of new systems coming out every 3 or so years? Or are you excited of the new revolution in gaming? Discuss :) I guess I'll be asking Trunks 1022 first since you seemed somewhat interested in video games (hint hint, new ps2 thread) ;) |

Anyways I will be getting all 3 when they come out, wish I was growing up now with these type of video games coming out I really wouldve never passed High School |

Because its going to very powerful system and Sony is claiming that it will be the most powerful machine when it gets released.Might I add that game will be 80-100 dollars which is even more of pain that in ass.The reason for this one is its going to be hard for companys to even know the technology.
I saw few thing about Xbox Next (360 sounds lame) I actully like the Xbox Next looks a slicker and smaller system.

I saw much more coverage on G4 about Nintendo future plans and it seem like huge hit miss with this Nintendo Revolution.Let me explain about Nintendo Ups and Downs.
There Ups
I think the Game Boy Micro is very good idea and cosumers will be all over it. I work at Best Buy I notice how much the Nintendo DS sold. So Nintendo still has Game Boy audience.Plus the DS was to a little big for young ones to fit in there pockets but then again then again baggy jeans are so cool :rolleyes:
A huge and upcoming product for Nintendo is Nintedogs. Let me explain.It allowsto control Puppys and other type of dogs. This is where the second screen/touch-panel calibration comes in allowes you to take care of you dogs a la Seaman for Dreamcast/Sims.The Palm Pen will allow you to wash, pets and do other thing to take care of your dogs.

For Nintendos down
Nintendo are a bunch of morons for not showing anything about there Nintendo Revolution. They seem they have not learn there lesson from delaying the Nintendo 64 back in 1996. Also there next system isn't anything special so the future for Nintendo looks very questionable.
Mario is great character 90% of Nintendo games always have in it but there no where near as bad games they are always and have much repaly value but there jumping the shark: Mario 64 DS Verison Mario Party 1,2,3,4,5, Mario Golf, Marioc Tennis, Mario and Luigi Saga, Mario Duble Dash, Mario Kart:Arcade Version and Mario was put on NBA V3 (I wonder why they didn't comeout With Marioc BasketBall :D) but no Mario The Plumber game. They need to watchout
