Going solo to prom.. ****!

wow, if it can go wrong, it will....
i was gonna take this chick to prom, and i decided to take a shower, cuz i wanted to deep conition my hair, so i was gonna do that now, then shower again later, just to get cleaner. im a clean person. thats beside the point. the point is, i get out of the shower, and theres like 3 messages and 5 missed calls on my phone from my date, and im thinkin - this cant be good.
i get out and the first message is like call now its urgent, im like ok, the second says, call now its urgent, then it says my mom isnt gonna let me go to prom! and im like oohhhh great.
so i call her back and she appears frantic, and i end up on the phone with ehr mom, and her mom is like im sorry, theres another thing, i didnt realize we had to do when i gave my daugher permission, we hasve to go to my good freinds engagment party ( weddings are a big thing here)
and im like i bought her her ticket blah blah and shes like can i reimburse you for the ticket?
and im thinking you lady!!!

its not even about that, its the principle, i see where u coming from, but this is extremely rude.
and then shes like sorry its not happeneing
and we both hang up.
and now i sit.
some ed up .
what are everybody elses best rejection story type things. right now im just hoping this is all true, and that she actually wanted to go. im insecure like that. . |

I myself don't have anybody to go with to my school prom either, so I simply skip it. :D
Which is ing good since I hate dressing up in some suit and pretending to be civilized. :stongue:

its not like prom is a big deal here, in fact its gonna suck most likely, but we had dinner reservations to a very nice place first, and i like to wear a suit. and this bitch is so hot. .
i cant stand going to a prom alone.

Why, don't go there then. I can't see the problem! Going alone isn't worth it, try selling the tickets to somebody.

its not the prom, its the principle of the whole thing.
the prom is just the mid point in a kickass night
really fancy dinner with hot bitch to start off, see everyne from school at prom, take pics etc, then clubbing til 4, 5 am.
the planning, and preparation, ruined! hahaha
i even bought new cologne!
and the bitch has been a lil flaky lately. it just pisses me off that after this whole thing, it got ed up.

i wouldn't be too disappointed, though. her attitude seems..worrysome. restrained. like it reall is outside circumstances.
