amazing performance by Koo today, in the second game of Subway Series I !
3 K's in a row, a double, and a run scored from 2nd base off a bunt!
Let's see a Yankees reliever do all that!
His hit came in his second career at-bat, and against Randy Johnson. (Did he get the ball for that?)
Did anyone see his first at-bat, against the Reds last Monday? He looked so bad - stood at the outside edge of the batter's box, and didn't swing at all, striking out in 4 pitches.
That play at the plate was really close, but he (or the 3rd base coach) was really smart to see that Posada was way out, and no one was covering. |

| because it's the end result that matters...when the yanks win the world series this year, what are you gonna remember?? that some kid outpitched randy johnson IN MAY??!! again, enjoy it for today cuz itll all be over tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, etc... |

| oh im a huge fan of baseball itself...i think i agreed once that at one point during that awful losing streak the yanks had in april that the mets were the more exiting team to watch...but pledging allegiance to my team while downplaying the crosstown rivals shouldnt be taken as a sign of me not liking baseball itself...i cant wait to see pedro pitch tomorrow...i think kaz matsui is going to bust out of his daze and become one of the better players in baseball in about 2 months...i wish some would break the legs of both Mientkiewicz and Beltran cuz theyre both damn good players...it's not like i dont like any of them...quite the contrary, my friend...but im not going to show them and respect for these 3 games at all...theyre less than to me for these 3 games...then when all is said and done, ill pay my respects... |

i was just upset that i missed koo scoring when i turned my attention to the continuation of the fight that started in the bleachers and ended in the parking lot...more like a mele actually...
