Hey all,
Well I finally found out that I start my IBM co-op this monday! Should be a splendid time, haha. I also found out that they are starting me out at a 28.75 an hour so I've decided that I need to buy myself something great. I am actually thinking of buying myself a new bike, seeing is how I already have a buyer for my 1990 600R Ninja :). I think I am either going with an R6 or CBR600RR. Picking between those two is going to be a ridiculously hard decision so I ask you this...
Please try and convince me on which bike to get :)!
Thanks |

| I'm not a big fan of the GSX-R750. I know it was the sportbike of the year and all, but EVERYONE around here has one. Every backroad in CT I'm on, I always manage to pass one. Yea, the ZX-6R is on my list too...although they do cheat and use a 636 engine...haha. A slipper clutch would be pretty sweet to have though. Do you have any idea when the new ZX-6RR is coming out??? Im going to Motorsports International today to sit on the ZX-6R to see what I think. |

Hayabusa...haha. What a useless piece of crap, IMHO. I don't need a 1300 sportbike. There is just no need or place for that bike in the back roads of Connecticut. Also, I love ducati's but repairs and maintence for those bikes are ridiculous...and the 749's go for 15k, so thats outta the question. My choices are pretty much:
GSX-R600/750
ZX-6R
R6
CBR600RR
I was thinking about liter bikes like the R1, ZX-10, ect, but don't think I would enjoy them as much as a more nimble 600 or 750. |

ducks are too expensive, japper bikes run the market these days. They are sexy , but then again, so are all the others :)
yeah slipper clutch is a big thing for me, think it would really add a lot. The only reason I wouldnt want a suzuki is because of their street rep, but they win at every track they go to, theyre amazing, so if I customized the body kit id feel great about owning it.
R6 is a great bike, im personally looking into the litre bikes now, really want the Triumph Sprint ST for 2005...my dealer just got it in and wow. 1005 cc in 3 cylinders *drool*
but yeah Id stay away from 6rr because its track tuned, and wouldnt be as fun on the street power band wise.
Try the 10xr just for s while youre there |

| huffy and schwinns are very relaible and low maintaince. You should test drive those. They are also good in the backroads as well. |
