All mid 1990's stuff that I picked for $5 or less. I guess someone unloaded their collection which is good cos I didn't have money to buy them when they originally came out. I just started listening and i'm finding some good stuff in there (along with some e). If i ever learn how to use Trakor i'd like to make set with this stuff.:D

looks good to me on all accounts. a couple cd's there i'm not sure about because i don't know any of the artists. where did you buy those? i just ordered some 90's cd's myself today about five hours ago. trance europe express 2 was one of them! what a coincidence. here are mines:

i got them at a local used record store where they mostly focus on jass and rock vinyl (hence, what i think are cheap prices)
lol @ the 'secret life of trance' and 'buddha trance'. i remember seeing it at the record store around 94/95 but settled on another Rising High compilation "Futurescape". i wound't mind getting my hands on 'secret life of trance' and 'buddha trance'. wanna trade?;)

i agree, there is just some filler in here, but then again there are some gems that don't seem as dated as others.

i agree. after i took a listen, i recognizes a couple of tracks but i really exepected more. i guess its the later trancemasters that are better or more groundbreaking. |

no. i completely forgot about that booklet. if i remember correctly it seems that there were a couple of other trance compilations with booklets, back then. i recall that the booklets were mostly of pictures of raves and designs. i think they also had a little history of music and the like discussing kraftwerk and pre 1990 musicians.
all of this is giving me the urge to go hunting for some older stuff again.:o |

all the trance europe express's (1-5) had 192 page booklets with articles about the artists on the respective compilations. i managed to find a guy who was selling TEE2 with the booklet included :eyes: (for pretty cheap) |

TEE1+booklet is :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:. i still need to get my hands on that one, i knew someone that was going to sell me it but backed out of it.
edit, that secret life of trance cd is good but you should try to get the real deal i.e. secret life of trance vol 2 (2cd) on rising high. i just love that compilation. especially eternal spirit (northern mix) |
