i hear a lot of tribal trance was just wondering what keys or scales/chords they use for it mostly?
also another quick question
on dream trance what wave form is the one of choice for those dreamy pads that you hear the most

I doubt that you will find good anwers to those questions in here, for several reasons.
Alot of producers see that kind of information as a trade secret and aren't willing to share it
alot of people think that answering such questions undermines originality, that if they could just look it up somewhere and find what key/chord/waveform to use, then everyone would start sounding the same and nobody would experiment
most of the kids in here just don't know the answers
there are so many different ways to make trance that is often hard to find a scale or a waveform that is used consistently
but I bet you could find the waveform of your pad easily enough by running it through an o-scope and an analyzer, you just have to find a recording that isnt so busy that you can't isolate the wave you wanna see.
the best way to figure out things like this is trial and error, this isnt usually the sort of thing a person can just ask for and be given an answer. |
