I looked at discogs but it wasn't in the database. I picked it up yesterday (see thread). I'm not familar with techno so i was hoping someone can tell me about anything about it. I do recognise track 9 Jens and a couple of other ones. I'm guessing it from 1994 or so. Anyone ever see this. One the CD it says GEMA so i'm pretty sure its german. Thanks.

EDIT
apparently there was an enery drink in germany called Flying Horse. here is an image of a can. the logo on the can looks very similar to the horse in the cd. maybe it was a promo for the drink. but why would it say Horses and not Horse and Drug not Drink. most likelythe CD title was a take on the energy drink but totally unrelated to it.

That's certainly not techno as I (and many more people) know it today. It's more like rave or even (German) harder trance-like music.
On a side note, that music's still cool to listen to every now and then, depends on the mood. |

i think you're right because the cd says 'roots of techno' and it has that rave music sound like 'James Brown is Dead'.
thanks |

| i haven't heard it either, but i'd guess it's a mix of old school european techno and old school rave/hardcore. |
