i happen to love nocturnal but seriously they need to fill that place up. lots has to do with the front door.
space right now is still the afterhours spot. hopefully things turn around for nocturnal..... cuz the residents were bringing it last nite hardcore.
when i came down for edgar i was surprised to see main room closed.. cuz when i left to go hear stryke on patio it had a decent crowd.
i guess junior sanchez didnt keep up the same energy as stryke did
wanst there too long just a bit. sucks to hear they cut edgar off at 6. :( |

| It's gonna take some time for people to decide to check out Nocturnal afterhours instead of Space. It's not going to happen overnight. But you gotta keep it open! Don't close out one of your afterhours DJ's. If they aren't playing, people who were there can't tell their friends about their experience, and so on. So basically it's gonna take "time"........ |

whack night,,, it was very sucky that because of 'headliner' dj the mainroom had to close, leaving only open the vip room + rooftop.
whatever,,, edgar played great tracks, one in special-

ok here are some details .
the music was great . the highs are a bit too high in that upstairs room. the place looks amazing . too bad they arent gonna let a night build itself since on the 1st night of edgar noones buying a million drinks its not gonna happen over night dude !! no matter who you put there for after hrs !! some people just dont get it best thing in nocturnal would have to be stryke !! mutha aaa was on this morning on the patio !! huge props mr stryke !! btw i love the patio ! the feeling up there is insane .. andnocturnal please !! trash whoever the it was before dgar !! ****** cleared the room with every track he played .. everytime a new track came on , more people left . i say bring roland or shawn rudnik to the main room saturdays !! and keep it that way unless its a special guest dj. but that guy last night ? not gonna work. AWFULL !! |

sux that edgar only played till 6am... nocturnal's management and time will only tell if the club will succeed after all.. |

| glad that Edgar this his thing, but now from what im hearing from you guys Nocturnal ed up dirty style, come on they had to make it an unfogettable night, and + that night Edgar was going to make his debut on the club and they just ed up, sometimes this even dissapoints some people and makes them not go back again, and is stupid since Nocturnal is new they should be building up a good reputation but they are doing the contrary, well if they want to compete with space they need to get a new management team, if like this is happening there. |

| When a club just opened they are supposed to do their best, first impressions is what marks a succesfull one. Hope they can pull it off non-theless. |

that was junior sanchez a guest dj. shawn was sick last nite so stryke before junior took over did an opening main room set. where he dropped bombs left and right
stryke owned all of nocturnal last nite . massive tunes all nite |

The crowd was nice full of CP'ers representing.
Jr. Sanchez had the crowd going until the rooftop opened, then Stryke tookover & literally owned the whole club. everyon ended upstairs. To me, I didn't really like to much what Styke was playing. I've heard better from him b4. But that's my opinion. I'm not saying he sucks, it's just i've heard better from him.
NOW FOR EDGAR.
well honestly for the hour & half he played was awesome!! It was great to hear Edgar again. It has been a while. Alot of peeps were anxiously waiting for mr V to come on. Finally came on & we slowly but surely staggered in to hear him.
What i don't understand is how they cut him OFF. He started around 4ish til 6am. YES I SAID 6 AM!! that sucked big ASS!! that was afterhours?? I don't think much can really be said about an hour & a half of playing.
The music stopped at 6am, we all looked at each other thinking it was equipment error. We looked up @ the booth & we hear THAT'S IT!! NO MORE.. (wtf??!!) THAT"S IT??!!! Killed the whole experience for me. after that everyone was like lets go to the rooftop (terrace, whatever you wanna call it.) i just ended up going home comepletely disappointed at the whole afterhours let down.
even in the main room was done @ 415-420 in the morning. I don't think it would be worth going back IMO.
BUT WE SHALL GIVE TI TIME & HOPEFULLY IT WILL GET BETTER.
djdouglas, trancemonkey, Damon, Meli2444(from cp), KokY, arturoB, (some TA's)karen fredz21, pat mcgroin, Sotuchick (nice seeing you), Attomic & gf, mr miami & divinedezine (aka mrs miami)were the ones showing some suppport for the man. great hanging with ya guys. (sry if i forgot someone)
Sry Damon u drove all the way down to hear only an hour & a half of edgar.
Everyone else was rooftop. (the rest of the Cp'ers)
First time there last night. The setup is nice. Rooftop very spacious , but HOT as !! The actual clubs looks like a MINI_SPACE in IMO.
First time there, new club just getting started, so we shall give it some time & give it another shot & see what happens. Didn't really feel all the hype everyone has been giving this club. From what i saw last night, crowd wise & venue wise, Don't think it will have a chance against SPACE. Sry to say that, but i hope i'm wrong. only time will tell.
GOOD LUCK to NOCTURNAL. Hope it turns around for the best, especially afterhours with EDGAR V.
I'm not much of a reviewer, so this is just based on what i saw & felt about the club.
