Anyone familiar with this chap.

I've just been listening to a few of his releases there and I must say the sound is very refreshing sound with some really beutiful melody. I don't know how you'd describe the music he makes, kind of deep-tech house with trance elements - also dabbles in ambient too.

can't believe it's taken me up till now to discover this guy.

:)

Have a listen to some of these tunes.

yea, his stuff is quite emotive. Also check his productions under his real name.

I've been noticing this guy lately too. The Color Of Feels is typical melodic Kompakt bliss, same with Everlasting. Looking forward to an album, which hopefully is a bit more varied than his singles.

Just wondering that's all. I haven't heard of much of his type of stuff coming out of Japan. I was thinking that he might pave the way for an influx of Japanese artists, therefore happy days.

Oh and btw, don't be such a wanker.

Yup, he's Japanese. Hiroshi Watanabe is his name. I've enjoyed some of his works alot and some have been less appealing but overall he's done wonderful productions and remixes, especially the works under Tread quise together with Takehiko Kitahara.

Wanker? Think before you actually write something you lummox. There is no need to 'pave the way for an influx of Japanese aritsts' as there are already a great deal, including those that produced long before Hiroshi.

I haven't heard any Japanese artists that produce similar stuff to Kaito. I already know there's any amount of experimental electronica type artists but that stuff, for me, ain't too good.
