Need AIM equivalent program for Mac

| I don't remember if it was on this forum or another one I asked recently, but I tried searching here and came up with nothing. I don't really like using iChat and the AIM version for Mac for some reason keeps shutting down every so often. There was another program I remember someone telling me for Mac that is like AIM but I can't remember the name of it. Anyone know what the program is? |

Was it called Fire?
Fire
It's the Mac equivalent for Trillian. Trillian is like AIM for the PC but it also manages yahoo and ICQ and MSN and stuff. I'm not really sure, i went to Trillian's website to see if it worked on Mac (i thought it did) and i found out about Fire through that. I've never used it or seen it, but just a suggestion... |

| it comes in a .dmg file (disk image) and you just drag the "Adium" icon to the applications folder or wherever you want to put it. and when it comes time to uninstall just drag that to the trash. |
