I'm sorry to hear that she cheated on you and I know that it hurts coz someone did the same to me a very long time ago and blamed myself for letting him get a way with far too much. But then one night I thought what the hell n went out n i realised that i had wasted far too much grieving over him. Now I have a lovely boyfriend who i totally adore.

If going out n getting pissed n gettin off with some random lass n havin a laugh with your mates dont suit a suppose you could take most of the lads advice in here and shag her best mate or mam!!

Many girls like to excuse their actions based upon their emotional state at the time of the 'incident'. Don't fall for that - there are exceptions to the rule - but - more often than not - they'll keep doing it as long as they can get away with it.

One day karma will hit them in the ass, dont worry, keep ur head up high.

Preach it brother!

that really sucks. i got cheated on by the guy i lost my virginity to, and i remember when i found out at school i went in the bathroom and just sat down and almost had a nervous breakdown. i was crying so hard and just thinking, "oh my god this can't be happening"

time heals everything...

in the meantime stay busy, don't call her or anything...

go out and meet new chicks and go on dates, even though you're hurting...it'll help you get your mind off her and it'll help you (slowly) realize that there are tons of other cute girls out there who are interested in you...

Agreed. I had the exact same thing happen. Not only did she make up excuses, but she even tried to blame it on me. Just be glad you're over and keep your head high. It was the biggest mistake of my life - but at least I learned something from it!

Recently happened to a friend of mine thats been married for 5 years.I thought she was a cool chica, and then we find out that while his great grandmother was dying and he went to her state and was at her death bed she was having an affair.

All of a sudden the world is in a ing tailspin and a lot of resentment gets directed at yourself for being a bad judge of character, why did you let someone get that close to you, etc...

The only thing I hope that happens is you forgive her (note: does NOT mean be a friend to her, let her near you etc.. its mainly clearing your mind of resentment) mainly because it tears you up inside to hope that one day you may be able to make her feel as ty as you do now. Let it go man. If youre a good guy, having you never be a part of her life again will be ample punishment. Let her hang out with the crowd she does now...

and #2 dont close up. I know my first reaction to things like this (its happened to me) is "wow, im way too trusting" and you start responding to women negatively, as potential cheaters. Biggest part of this is dont let her win that one.

sorry for the late entry, I had some time this morning finally :p
