Hi folks.
Im wavy....this is the first time ive actually joined any forum to try and get some feedback on my music. ive been djing for a few years now and realised the production of my own tunes is really the way to go. With this tune, I took an acapella from a Danny Tenaglia track, cut it up some and added some delay to the vocal. then i wrote a little tune to go underneath. the vocal is not mine but the rest of the track is...
see what u all think anyway. Im not quite at the level of some producers on this site but im open to any help you give me on my production

Hi Davy,
First I've to say I like your website, the tune was easily found there.
Good energetic bass and rhythm. At 1:27, I advice you to give the track some more instruments. Maybe lateron, a string pad would be nice in that part:) The idea is very good, it's just a little too empty at the moment. If you decide that a string pad won't do, try adding some synth structures or arpeggios. At least after the second breakdown.

Thanx webs...ive noted your feedback. I think your right about that. I could do to take it up a level at the second breakdown.
Its good to receive a fresh point of view....sometimes you can get so lost in the production that some of the more obvious bits needed can be forgoton about.

Hey Davie - I got it to work! I had to paste the download link into a new browser, and that did the trick.
on the the review:
Your track has lots of drive and energy! I like the vocal sample.. very cool. I also like when you add the harmony to the bass.. i think its the bass. That's my one suggestion, boost the bass frequencies, as its a little low. Could be my headphones though :conf:
I love the break at 3:00.. and then into an amazing funky groove - my favourite part! Great use of f/x all around.
Fine work Davie! Its like trance/house, which is a cool combo.
I'm looking forward to hearing more of your stuff,
