I did a search and whenever you type in the word "trance" it pulls up like 7 quatrillion threads, so anyway I was just wondering about any trance "producers" that don't just Dj or play VSTi mixes, that actually play back MIDI stacks in real time, with live intruments, vocals drummers etc...
I have never even been to a rave or a club so I don't know what these guys like Daniel Miller and Infected Mushroom actually do on stage.... I've been Djing houses off and on for the last few years but I've never seen a headliner Dj. My friends tell me they've seen live P.A breaks,DnB and hip hop and I know the Orb programs tunes live. |

I have a couple of friends that make a DJ duo.. or something like that.
One of them plays the guitar to enhance the mix.And they usually play prog trance. Pretty neat, but their sets are usually boring though cause it seems to me that they want it more of a "performance" than a DJ set. |

| I guess I'm interested in Trance/prog or psy "producers" who don't just play pre-recorded music at all live that actually make it as they go like a "real" band with electronic instruments. This is what I've always wanted to do, I mean djing is really cool too and everything but why not take it a few steps further? |

i also have a longer and better quality video from trance energy 2001 where they play such is life, then superstring on their keyboards and keytars (or whatever they're called :P) where there's more focus on the djs, than in the clip i just uploaded. it's too big for my webspace tho, or else i'd upload that one instead |
