I don't game all that much anymore. Well not many new games, mainly older playstation games like Castlevania SotN, Chrono Cross, snes games like metroid and bomberman, n64 games like super mario 64 and legend of zelda.
I'm rather content considering I've been getting games like mario and perfect dark for 7-15 bucks, mainly the former. |

Very true but it's so much more complicated to spend 100 bucks on modding and xbox and then swapping in an HD and getting everything working thant to spend 10 bucks to buy an N64 and a few games :D. |

you don't need another hard drive you can just use the 8gb one thats allready in the xbox and then just burn all of your media I have emulaters for everything and they only take up like 1 or 2 gb;) then you keep all the games and roms on discs:D |

Oh I know that. SNES pack of 7000 ROMS is only like 3 GIGS. Then there's a few other systems but I could manage with 8 gigs. It's just that I would want to use PSXBOX so I either need to use a DVD for the bin file or put it on the box itself. |

quite true-- ati's r500 won't be released for a while, and it seems to be on top of things right now. I don't quite remember nVidia's stats, but I believe it was equivalent to two 6800s.
So, you COULD potentially have the most powerful system out right now-- but I highly doubt it when the next-gen consoles come out. Btw, who's going to spend $500+ for a graphics card, when you can get it for about $300+ on an x360 or ps3? |
