Intel Procs in Apple computers

i just heard on NPR that apple computers wants to put Intel procs in their machines. They want to make a partnership with intel. Anyone heard about this?

well, there was rumours since 2000 but nothing clear until now....

I did catch this on ArsTechnica (this story) and the post above is true, this has been rumored for years. I am most inclined to believe the take posted in the linked article...
