Yeah, that what's going on. Compressed nerves. Either in my foot or back. Going to neuroligist on Thursday.

For two weeks now i have lost feeling on my left foot. Not the whole foot just the bit on top. Woke up with it tingling and its gradually improved, and when i go running at the gym and what not it doenst hinder me in any way. You think i got this nerve problem? I can feel more than i used to last week, but its like waking up when you have been leaning on your hand and its all fuzzy.

Well its in your spine you woudl feel numbness all down your leg along the dermatome...

dermatomes =

but if its local compression in your foot, you'd just feel it there.

I have nerve damage in my foot from years of dancing! It's like that secretaries get in their hands "carpet-tunnel syndrome".Excpet in my foot.

did anyone mention MS? that is an early sign of it...u should ask the neuro about it just to be safe, but i'm pretty sure a spinal tap is the only way to check for it, so i dunno if they'll run tests...depends on what insurance u have! hahah sad, but true.

i remember like 5 years ago, i woke up and couldn't feel my legs...i had them sort of bent weird, but it was the craziest feeling in the world, it almost like tickled really bad...

so i sit up in bed and i massage them a little bit to get the blood flowing, but they still had that really intense "tingling" feeling. so i get up and start to walk to the bathroom, and my legs completely give out from under me like noodles and i collapse to the floor. it was so weird, i had to laugh at myself. i was just like, "woah, wtf" so i get up and start walking in the bathroom and i fall again. i had no control over it, it was weird. imagine ur just walking and all of a sudden PLOP, u hit the floor and ur legs are like limp noodles.

very strange. of course when i told my mom about it she started flipping out and going through medical books reading about MS and was freaking out. hahah

i never had any testing done and that was the only time that happened.

uh oh...

after dancing for 5 hours straight this past saturday (in heels no less), the toe right next to my big toe on my right foot is completely numb. it feels like it's perpetually asleep and all tingly. same thing happened last year when i was wearing the same shoes and dancing for 6 hours, and it went away after a while, so i didn't really worry.

time to find some new shoes!

My brother also had something like this happen...had the MS scare, but it was just a slipped disc. He had some anti-inflammatories and in a few weeks he was back at stuff.
