where to play poker

Hi guys, i love playing texas holdem, and i was wondering if any of you know pubs or other places where poker games are going on, like 5-20 $ a game?
i am 17 years old so i can't go to a casino, thanx for any info. |

| My advice to you is don't play that game at all and save ur money instead. That game is addictive...like a blue telephone :D |

well if you're willing to drive about 20 minutes west to Islington/Steeles (north side), there's a bar there (I think it's called Shooters or something). Every Monday they have a free poker tournament (30-65 people). When that's done, they have money games in the back. I think it's a $30 buy-in.
BTW, you didn't hear about it from me, or anyone on the 'net. ;) |

The free tournament starts around 7 or 7:30.... the money rounds start later, around 11 or so

st clair and avenue road theres a bar too (south west corner a couple in ) sundays 7pm....... it says free tourneys but where theres poker theres money.
p.s. poker for no money is lacking....... imo its bad for your skills, at least play 5 bucks to make sure yer opponents play right. |
