Just throwing the idea out there... Maybe get dinner somewhere. I don't know the Detroit area so maybe some people can provide suggestions. Maybe see if Markus can join us?
Topher Jones
Great idea. Would be a lot of fun if we could get a lot of people out there for this.

I am definitely down for this. Only been to Detroit once myself (an interesting experience too). Just give me an address and a time...I got all day (and all night too =D )

Speaking of heading out and about in Detroit...

It's so funny... I've gotten warned about a million times this week about how bad Detroit is... "Don't go anywhere alone," "Look out for this!"

Is this city really as sketchy as I'm being told?
kabelicious
As a resident of the D (I could walk to the Festival if I wanted to), I will say this - yes and no it's sketchy. There are areas of the D you don't walk around in but none are in the downtown area. Always go with someone else, don't be dumb and walk down dark alleys or into abadoned buildings. Do know where you're going when you drive (it's easy to get lost in the D if you don't know where you're going on side streets).

If you want some suggestions for a dinner meet up before Markus - here are some local places great for this:

Agave - Mexican restaurant with infintiy types of tequila - on Woodward in midtown

Oslo - sushi restaurant less than a block from Bleu - also great food but not a ton of space to get a large group to eat together

Union Street - basic American/Italian food on Woodward across from the Majestic

Greektown - good Greek food abounds - within walking distance to Bleu and plenty of restaurants like the Pegasus and the Deep Dish Pizza Co.

Loco's - Mexican bar/restaurant near Greektown also within walking distance to Bleu

Those are my best bets for good eats and drinks before Bleu. :)

I'll get with you later Joe. Maybe we can convoy or something. Definitely don't want to miss this.

Yeah, some place within walking distance of Bleu, how does 7 pm sound? That would give us time for a big group to eat and then walk to Bleu.

Rob, Detroit is alright. It's a good thing I was walking with Julie to Bleu because apparently if I wasn't there some dude in an escalade wanted to "snitch yo bitch ahhh!"

Topher Jones
This will be good times. Never been to an Armini Exchange so that will be cool but get out there early and check out KT from 3-6. He always throws down great stuff. Im pumped for this weekend and especially Sat evening into the night.
