I have never said bin Laden or "al-Qaida" weren't involved, I said they didn't come up with the plan, they merely financed it. Nothing you have said has countered that.
And you refuse to watch that documentary I am basing my opinions on (altho you could read Burke's book, if you were capable of reading)

OK Bin Laden didnt help plan it?..this quote sure says otherwise::

I am 20 minutes into this rubbish and am about to fall asleep...so what if America coined the phrase Al Qaida....we needed a name to call them as oppose to calling them "those guys in the hot dirt with rifles"

Al Qaeda is a figment of our imagination; there are no sleeper cells, and talk of lethal dirty bombs is all so much radioactive hot air...but if the US government doesnt do this and another attack happens people like George Smiley will say the US governemnt knew of the threats and did nothing to prevent them.,...friggen double talking nonsense.

Well I dont think its too much of a stretch of the imagination to assume bin Laden would have wanted to go through the fine details of the plan he was about to fund do you? Looks to me thats what he was doing (also understand his motives - he wants to promote his ideology, and taking credit for all of this is a good way to go about it)
Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying he was not involved cos he clearly was, and I'm not saying it was wrong to take him out, cos he is clearly a danger, but my objection is t the notion of what al-Qaida is (or isn't). And it isn't an international network of terrorists. There are terrorist cells in most countries, probably planning attacks - but these are not al-Qaida cells, they are all individual cells (some of whom may very well ask bin Laden for financing)
But then, you have displayed an absolute blind obliviousness to al-Qaida other than what your government tells you to believe...
