and yes .. i am rooting for maria too .. and i am also rooting for henin-hardenne .. i guess i have a 'thing' for short women .. :wtf: :haha:

quoting myself .. ....

woo! .. henin-hardenne won... at least my fav gal pal is still in .. although sharapova lost, she gave her best efforts .. wimbledon should provide us with a doozy of matchups with the williams sisters, clijsters and henin-hardenne going strong, the russian assassians, mauresmo, and company ..

Henin in the final ;)

federer vs nadal atm 3-6 5-2, and some of the best tennis i've seen in ages

Nadal is the best clay court player I have ever seen.

Too bad the fan got under Federer's skin in the 4th set, causing him to be broken and turning the match around....I was really hoping for a 5th set tomorrow.

yep too bad, Federer was far from his best, and Nadal was solid, as always, but it's a pity because there was really a great possibility to win Roland Garros this year for Roger :sadgreen:

ARGH Federer didnt have the best in him today but I still believe that he will win Wimbledon and the US Open. Doing it for us Suisse!!!!!!:tongue2

no problem for wimbledon IMO :) and i wish the same for US open too, as well as I'd like to see the Swedish Joachim Johansson again at his best, with his huge serve and huge forehand :D

the clay seems to be the ol' wicked potion to defeat the tennis greats .. sampras .. federer .. (cant name others at the moment .. hahaha) .. but :wtf: .. federer lost ... hahhaa .. at least we are seeing some "competition" in the men's field now ..

but too bad for juan carlos ferrero against safin .. i was hoping for ferrero to get his clay groove back .. he was awesome a couple of years ago on clay, before he got hurt ..

saw a little of the match today, the 2 best goin at it was great, sucked though that federer just wore down when he was up 3-2 in that last set.Tried to make the judge think it was too dark already :D . Well one of the commentators said maybe on his side it probably was dark.anyways Nadal is gonna be owing this court for years to come

they also said the same about carlos moya and juan carlos ferrero ... might as well call this the "spanish" open rather than the french open ... .. :haha: ..

anyways, henin-hardenne rolls past pierce to win her "controversial" 2nd title (1st title was an iffy .. although i don't have any disagreements with what she did in the serena match, it is legal .. she just broke serena's groove, and took advantage of it ..)

in other news, since this is an EDM board, we are SUPPOSED to talk about EDM music .. :D .. during the opening intros of the french open this morning, nbc (america) played groove armada - easy as the background music when they showed clips of pierce and henin hardenne ..
