Rosee Swain gave birth to Christian Kaczur Hart and Diana Rose Angelina on April 20 at UAB Hospital, but the twins were four weeks premature. Hospital officials said the babies had gained enough weight and Swain and her husband, Jay, brought their babies home to Fort Payne on Friday.
The couple has two children in their 30s and a 6-year-old son Jimmy. The Swains said they did not want Jimmy to grow up an only child.
"There are lots of options out there for older women like me," Rosee Swain said. "And women shouldn't give up hope without exploring all their options."
The twins were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
Rosee Swain, a special education teacher, said she's ready to care for the twins, who likely would graduate from high school when she is 75 years old.

what's the big deal that's freaking you guys out?
you seriously need to get a life off of the internet and that people actually have real aspirations in life like raising a family and all sometimes much much later.
An aunt of mine had 4 kids before she was 30 and 20 years later after divorce and such she decided to try to have babies ok not at 57 but 49 or so. Real expensive real difficult but totally worth it.

some little alien like creature feeding inside you and then it pops out and sucks all the milk out of your boob and makes them flat and ugly, and then it cries and s and pisses all night and THEN, it learns to TALK....
then u gotta answer dumb questions all the time, and go to parent-teacher conferences and talk to other dumb moms who only know how to talk about their kids...
then it gets an attitude talks BACK, and rebels and tells u to off! then off to college and who's paying for it? that's right johnny YOU ARE...
