I need at least 5gb and I want it to be as small as possible. I would like to stay away from the ipod. I need something with a sleek design and a battery that will last. I have narrowed it down to a few. Avoid I recommend u Creative Micro, I personally own Creative Zen NX 30gb and I'm glad I chose it.
