i'm planning on getting my turntables this week, since i got my wisdom teeth pulled i have all these days off work... nothing like celebrating my week of vicadin popping by finally getting some vinyl!! anywho, i need some advice on where i should go to buy them... i went to philly last week to armand's on chestnut, but that trip got shot to , actually my friend's tire did on the side of the turnpike and by the time we got into philly after the explosion everything was closed. so i don't know if i should go back there, because we did walk past it and it looked like the guy had a good selection, or if i anyone has advice on somewherre else to go. i'm willing to go into either philly or ny or anywhere in between, so whereever you guys recommend will help me out
also... i did do a search on this subject and found nothing. so if someone was planning on bitching at me for posting this probablly frequently discussed topic, there was nothing i could find throughout the threads :happy2: |

get a used pair off craigslist.... or ebay.
if you want to go to the city, just go to canal street in chinatown and haggle with any of the many pro audio shops.
don't get a brand new pair of tts- especially if you wanna buy technics. unless the previous owner threw them down a flight of stairs, they last forever so there's no use getting em brand new. |

Buy them brand new if you want to become serious if you ask me. That was prolly my first mistake.
