LOL...it might sound like a joke to some of you but for me it was not funny at all...it seems that (especially at night where there were not that many people on the streets and i was setting up my tripod) i was being watched at every corner...every picture I took there was a building securty guard watching what I'm doing, police officers comming up to see who I was and what I was up to...saying hi and such. It was pretty intense. They had a debate too while I was there that someone was proposing a law to ban photography on subways but that didn't go through and a few times I was warned not to take pictures at certain places.
They are pretty damn paranoid that's for sure! |

I love New York! Those are great pics! It's funny to recognize so many places I've seen with my own eyes! I stayed at a TA's place on the side street where the Late Show was filmed with Tatgirl, when we went to see Mario Piu at Arc. Good times, good times!
And there's angles of the Empire state building that look like they were from Avikonen's apartment, too! :D |

| i love NYC...was there for the 3rd time in early March...nice pic of the Late Show...our team got to go 2 years ago....guests were Ray Romano and Jason Kidd.....wicked times.. |

Hahah if I even begin to tell you how much shopping I've done and what I bought you'd fall :crazy: :crazy: Although somehow I still ended up under my budget :conf: Anyhow...best shopping in the world for sure!!!
Funny you should mention Tiesto...I bought the ISOS 4 CD yesterday as it was released and finally am listening to it now...beautiful (first song :p)
WOHOOOOOOOOO...I'm finally more or less getting over the fact that I'm not in NY any more...that place is BUZZING with energy it doesn't wear off that fast :toothless
I'll try and post some more pictures if I get a chance later tonight |

Oh man u gotta tell me the places u went for SHOPPING other then the ritzy stuff which I'll be going to for sure and its not hard to find...I've been a few times but I know for a fact that they have new stores all the time so any info on the new places would be awesome....:D
I bought the CD yesterday too and OMG #1 KICK ASS....+ #4 AND HIS Remake of BT-The force of gravity #12 ....I love the whole CD its da s for sure!!! can't wait until June 30th...:D:D:D:D:D:D |

Hehehe...well SOHO is my favourite area for shopping...it's kind of like Yorkville on steroids...but even better...so many trendy shops with everything and anything you can imagine -- art galleries, interior design stores, fashion...really everything. From brand name designers to emerging lables, to things you've never heard of it's all there. It's a pretty huge area and I spent almost and entire day there shopping taking pictures and having lunch on one of the patios...There are quite a few stores I can tell you about that are worth visiting that aren't necessarily the upscale designer onces...
The new Bloomingdale's in SOHO is amazing too...has a great caffee and all kinds of lables for seriously affordable prices - I hit by a fluke a men's designer sale up to 50% most items...was excellent!
Anyway I managed to squeeze a few more pictures...
This is where World Trade Center used to stand...it's completely unbelievable even standing there and looking at it's impossible to comprehend...
