| i got tascam us-122 and mixer with record line in on it, i want to record all my vynils to mp3, any recomended software to record all this stuff? and what catridges and mixer do i need to get the best smooth recording? ( currently im using numark djm06 is it enough?) how do i setup my eq and volume in my mixer? is it necessary to remove the shhhh sound. or is there any others necessary way so my mp3 got the same quality as my vynil. cause i have to go overseas and i dont want to bring all my vynils. thx for the advices if u dont understand what im asking about plz ask for it, thank u!!!! ( sorry bad grammar) |

OMNIFEX
Master/Booth/Rec out of your mixer, into the Line In in your
computer's soundcard. You'll need an audio editing device.
Adobe Audition, Soundforge, & Wavelab (I use btw) will give
you the option to modify the recording, and transfer it to
mp3.

Record Flat. No eq. Output on the mixer should touch 0dB and,
not over.
