| Macs don't allow for as many characters as PC's do when it comes to file names. I am not sure about the titles in the itunes menu in the app but maybe when Apple ported itunes for the PC they didn't update this. :crazy: |

To the best of my knowledge, iTunes doesn't cut off any song titles. iTunes simply goes by what's in the ID3 tag. If the track does not have anything in the ID3 tag, then it substitutes the file name in the song title field.
Most people don't tag their stuff well, and that's maybe why you're seeing stuff get cut off. Btw, I'm like an iTunes freak. I use it everyday for more than 6 hours on average. I can 'splain just about anything, good or bad. |

hmm usually iTunes never cuts off my song titles....
but it did that last night when I imported the PVD Jahre Maximal set into the Library :conf:
