| Man, I'm so pissed that I missed it! We drove all the way out there and we got to the door and the girl I was with didn't have her ID!! Damnit! Oh well, I'm kinda relieved that he didn't play a 5-hour set though. I'll definitely be there at 9:00 next weekend to see Habersham and Junkie XL! See y'all there. |

| Nick came on around 11:30...definitely no 5 or even 4 hour set. I believe they were just waiting for the room to fill up before he went on. Needless to say Nick came on and was a bit testy for the first hour or so. After that hour he started to drop the heady goodness. The last time I saw Nick was The Riviera, it really do him any justice. Nick was definitely feeding and vibing off the crowd. I love to see a DJ into their music, it makes the crowd so much more into it. I think the highlight of the night for me was Speed of Sound (C64mix?) and him encoring with Mr. Brightside. I think everyone in the club was singing word for word, even better to see Devin in the DJ booth singing along with the rest of the crowd. :D All in all I had killer time. As always it was great seeing all the ATL TA's. Scott, Leann, Mr. Pink, Jordan & Bobby, Bobby # 2, Cynthia & DawnTreader , The Peach (hopefully you'll make it to Dave London). Pics coming soon... |
