Intelligent comment.
And as far as smashing rats is concerned... the hell is wrong with you? Get a leafblower and chase them out of the house.
And the dude that stomped the geese needs to be shot. Twice. |

Sounds like a "two birds with one stone" situtation if I've ever heard one. |

That picture is of a Hindu temple of the Karni Mata sect who consider the rats of that temple sacred as they are incarnations of the descendants of Karni Mata herself. |

mmm, i think the story said that she was reincarnated as a rat, and they serve all of them as though they were she, because they very well may be. your story works as well, though.
and , if you're bringin the tennis racket, man, take those suckers outside, go for distance. |

There are many versions of the story. A common element is the involvement Yama the god of death who sometimes gets along with Karnidevi and sometimes does not. In a few versions because Yama has already transfered someone's souls to a rat, he refuses Karni's request to have the person revived in their own body... this causes Karni to lose her infamously quick temper and vow that none of her descendants will spend any time in Yama's kingdom but instead will be incarnated as rats before being reincarnated as members of her family (the Depavats... who take turns being priests in and looking after her temple). |
