"He is wounded in his right lung, in which the bullets crossed and remained in his back," Iraqi said. Zarqawi, who is about 39, "is being given respiration," the aide said, without elaborating.
Apparently he's left Iraq too, and the Iraqis are chuffed
Good news :D

Wont make any difference if hes dead or not, funny how nearly everything gets blamed on him, but there again the Americans nearly allways need a bogeyman.

He definitely needs a doctor, a good one.
So it will makes it a lot easier for the authorities now to find him, hopefully.
He had claimed responsibility to lot of the attacks.

That's actually a bit of a myth...
The CIA never funded al-Qaida (bin Laden), they funded the Mujahadeen. The Mujahadeen however did not include bin Laden. There were two groups in Afghanisytan fightin the Soviets - the Afghan inhabitants (the Mujahadeen) and the Arab Afghans (of which bin Laden was a member - those who had gone to Afghanistan as a religious duty from all over the Muslim world). The CIA gave funds to the Pakistani intelligence who then distributed it to the Mujahadeen. The Arabs were financed by Saudi Arabia and private donors/charities/etc. People (who want to criticise America) often fail to make the distinction that the Arabs and the Mujahadeen were two separate entities even tho they were on the same side, and that it was not bin Laden who was funded by the CIA, but the other group fightin the Russians - the Mujahadeen
