How did the nature and impact of the United States expansion during the 19th century effect the Chinese living in the US?
I thought it only affected the native indians, since it was there homeland, and the latinos, since they lost most of their lands...
what does the us expansion have anyting to do with chinese ppl??? |

2) I dont know much about this topic but chinese workers were used to build the railroads in the 1860's (correct me if im wrong, been 3 years since i studied this). |

| I have to back up shadowolf. What he is saying, while may not be a fact for all people, is generally the case and he actually put it real well in that simple line. Just think of African slaves in the U.S., European immigrant waves, Asian immigrant waves, and now the wave of Mexicans and Latin American immigrants. All of these people initially needed to provide cheap labor and all eventually clash, and for the most part continue to do so until this day. So unless shadowolf hates, euros, africans, latinos, and asians, then I'm sorry but you're just going to have to remove the tampon from your ass. |
