WTF is with SMS.AC?

Is it just a messaging service that allows you to send free text messages from a web based server?

Here are my issues with this service...

1. I get at least 10 text messages a week from people asking to be my friend, but when I log onto the site, the request isn't there. Furthermore, I've never talked to these people and they've never messaged me....So what's up with that?

2. Is this just another online popularity contest? I see other people on the website that have hundreds of friends, and really, does anyone ever talk to hundreds of people?

it's a total scam dude

get yourself off that .

It sends an email to everyone in your address book and charges you everytime they send you a txt which is so obviously fake.

I just keep getting msg's from people to be my friend and I never send any in or out.

Well, I get free incoming text messages, so that isn't a big deal....But I have gotten email invitations from literally everyone I know, which is annoying...The daily text messages from random people asking to be my friend is annoying too.

theres a 5 digit +1 number that u see as an RSVP or something at the end of the message....just send a message there or somethign and u get off the txt messaging thing...saved me tons of irritation

I have free incoming everything, but I swear I read in the SMS.AC agreement that they can charge a service fee. Better check it out mate.
