The sensation theme is done by a different artist every year and its the themem for that year. Airscape had his time back in the day. |

That is the belgium Edition, and yea I have heard that one too and I thin that one is better than Armins but its still just OK. |

Everytime I hear this track it makes me wanna  Trance music today is such udder crap anymore. Everything sounds the same.....same build ups, same base lines, same boring ass vocals. This track is the perfect example. |

I agree, there are some new talented artists coming out but you have to hunt down the quality trance now a days. Its a job in itself. Back in the day quality trance was all around us. People are just running out of ideas not being creative and are being followers of the sound they hear. |

Higher expectations is a natural occurence that happens with everyone. Not just with music but with technology, and other things around us. The artists have to keep up with the quality of todays standards. There are some that do and I applaud them for that. You have to admit when you hear the same song with the same sounds over and over you are going to get sick of it. As more advanced production technology becomes available artists should use that to theyre advantage with keeping up to date as well as keeping theyre creativity flowing.
Some people are just stuck in theyre ways and there is nothing you can do about it. I mean some of them use the same synth in every single freaking song. It gets old. But some skill it so well no matter when and how much you hear the song its always mindblowing. Exceptional music stands the test of time. |

Would you change your posts if you knew that the artists werent checking the forums? I'm still an avid trance listener and internet geek, its not a coincidence I ended up on most forums keeping a track on what people are talking about.

Regarding expectations. Artists dont think so. Music is not a sport, and the producer is not an athlete. They do what they like, no more, no less. I dont think there are any producers nowadays that feel they are worse than before, yet people tell there are more crappy music out there. Maybe people need to realise the trance you knew it is almost gone? I dont know, just sharing my thoughts! |
