you need to form a group.

find some other DJs, it doesn't matter what genre, as long as its electronic. throw a free party somewhere, hell, even in a parking lot. take whatever you can get. e-mail everyone you can, tell friends, tell them to tell friends. i assure you SOMEONE will show up just on the fact of it being free.

from there, you know where you stand. if it goes well, you can choose your next step. if not, retry, with some changes.

just get a loud soundsystem, go somewhere, and start playing music for free. if the people stay, it's because they like it. it's not like they paid a ticket and want to stay to justify their money. you gotta start somewhere.

just make sure your friends and their friends tell everyone it's about ELECTRONIC MUSIC only, that way, you won't get people asking for R&B and you will see if there really is an electronic music crowd.

just go for it man.

Hi don't get me wrong i love trance too. but i think you're taking it a bit extreme..
If someone doesn't like trance that doesn't mean they don't understand life...
And second of all trance is not the only music out there...
It's up to the choise of the listner.

Too ever1 who posted thanks

Well, there's two of you right there...

Seriously though, it is just a question of trial and error. See it like this, it's an untapped opportunity just waiting to be used.

The best way is to host a night, or alternatively host a party. Let people hear it and decide for themselves.. sure you will get a lot of grinders but trance is generally good music and has a higher level of energy which may appeal to more people than you think.

Seriously, grab the chance and put it on the map in egypt.

Cheers

Guys...

YOU HAVE NO COMPETITION?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

START TRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guy's can be pioneers....

don't think it's hard for you, Focus on what you can do, not what u can't...

Think of it as ROOM TO GROW... If you were in Europe, u'd probably be complaining that there is too much competition...

guys... u need to undergo a pardigm shifts..... stop complaining, start focussing on positives, look at opportunity utilise it... Nothign great comes easy, u knwo what the difficult part is, now focus on it, focus on overcoming it,...

I'd rather be in your position :D

There are two types of people in the world, doers and ditherers.

When I started my first Hip Hop night in 85 I was told that Rap and Breakin' were just crazes and would fade out.

The truth is that it's the strongest music format today.

Be an inovator. Don't think about why it can't be done and start thinking about how it could be done!
