He is good, next Monday is his board of Ed evaluation. I am more relaxed about the situation since according to the doctor in his case it is correctable and he can be brought up to speed pretty fast with some early intervention. He just has to learn differently than other children do since his brain works differently. He was diagnosed with PDD, pervasive Development Disorder. |

| u can NEVER be too careful. supposedly there is a 'safe' time where its almost impossible to become pregnant...but ive heard of accidents occurring during those times too. not a very reliable method |

Well from what I have seen European culture is a bit different from American standards. Many European women such as myself and my mom and her mom all had children at young ages and it wasnt a big deal. |

Yea but there are still chances, then think about it if you are looking at it that way, it all depends on how much you trust the girl and how well she knows her cycles. Any mistake could be a BIG ONE. |

That is a broad generalization that is not true. Maybe if you were talking about 25-50 years ago, but that is certainly not the case anymore.
While I do not know a 'representative' sample of "European Women" I know a decend amount of them that are between 22-30. None of which are pregnant or currently considering to have children. Additionally, I have never heard of a 'teenage pregnancy problem' in germany, which does not mean that it does not exist. Nonetheless, the average number children per family is Germany is ~1.3, much less than the 2.x in the USA. that leads me to believe that a 'teenage pregancy problem' would be rather welcomed in germany, where the population is shrinking.
I have no statistical information to offer for other european countries, especially new ones like Poland, but since Germany is part of europe, your generalization is just plain wrong. |
