they may as well, I mean, seriously, think about it, the only place we may think we are safe is within our own bathroom, but even then...
Other than that, the world is free to everyone and lord knows who will do what, including video footage of random crap. Live each day in fear of the lense ,and you will not enjoy yourself, forget about it, and quite simply:
"Dance like no one is watching....."

maybe if more people on that damn bus spoke up as to what they saw then there wouldnt be a need.
I hate it when goes down and nobody talks. You might as well just invite the criminal to hide out in your house. |

you might aswell invite criminal to hide pretty much anywhere else and cameras will save lots of time for police who is looking for offenders.

Against crime yes...against cameras...well I don't know...I won't be able to have sex on the TTC anymore :toothless that's about the only downside I can see.
You have cameras in taxis, it's really not that big of a deal :p |

Well this was all prompted by a shooting on a Jane St. bus a few years ago where a man got shot in the back and a girl got a stray bullet or something hitting around her eye and she might never see from that eye again...witnesses aren't coming forward and if cameras were installed they would've seen who it was...so that's why the idea came up.
As far as I understand in London UK there are cameras everywhere and police officers don't carry guns... |
