very nice compilation encompassing most of the best late 2004 early 2005 had to offer in terms of techno

would recommend this to anyone wanting a gateway into recent techno

montana
tracklist looks pretty good, will check it out
Sand Leaper
That looks pretty good, and it might even make it to stores where I live, since most Intec comps do. Will keep an eye out.

Hmm.. not too excited about this tracklist myself, as this is not really my type of techno. As such, I especially cannot relate to

but as you said it might offer a decent insight into techno for people that need to catch up on recent popular tracks, as well as the fact that it provides a nice introduction into techno for the people that aren't yet too familiar with the genre.

looks very good... i might consider buying this as I've been away from recent techno releases and valentino seems to bring good music to the table when mixing

im not up to date on techno either, so for anyone who is, can u answer this for me:

Is it more driving (not too crazy) like carl cox stuff and Renato Cohen (pontape) or is it crazy, hard, all over the place type techno

this is driving techno, not hardcore techno (by your own definitions)

p.s: there are samples of all the tracks in the juno page, you can check for yourself

this CD looks housey as well by judging from the first part of the tracklists... there are some scattered house and tech house tunes.Kanzyani's production seem to have some housey influences with more "laid back" techno sounds

So this should be very groovy yet pumping

That's also a blueprint for almost, if not all of the releases on Intec.

Just heard this for the first time & It's blown my mind away, really good stuff, love the mixing especially, how he's got 3 tracks on the go at times, it's easy for anyone to get decks & beatmatch, but compilations like this show (and many techno dj's do also) that there's still a craft in doing it well :D
