loved mili's set - very sander k-ish (dropped a lot of tracks that sander has been canning the last few months). my only complaint - that i still didn't mili to sign my boobies :wtf:
d&g girl and i ended up getting pretty wasted and i don't remember much of g&d's set - i remember dancing to as the rush comes (that track still sounds amazing in a club - just the intro and how it comes in still gets me) and swing to harmony - those are the only 2 tracks that i remember or that i can even attempt to ID. left around 4 am.
nice to see neural defect and his friends - i don't think we saw any other ta's. |

I absolutely loved Mili's set! He is so the style that I love right now! Every track that he played was exactly what I wanted to hear, especially one in particular. :D It was really my first time I got to hear him and he was great! I will definitely be seeing him again -hopefully soon.
Yes, my and ctprincess got pretty wasted - I guess mainly after Mili's set....lol! I don't remember the whole night after that either but remember a few good tracks that G&D played - Arcadia, As the Rush Comes (which I also love), Swing to Harmony. They were great but I have to say I enjoyed Mili's set more because that's exactly the kind of music I like right now. It was a great time though - nice seeing you Sean by the way! :) |

HUGE HUGE SET!!! wow amazing. and all that hard at the end of the first hour blew me away, i need to know what some of those songs were.
Thank you dave and josh for an amazing night.
I dunno who was there, I only met 2 dudes that were sitting next to me - me and my boy were on the left side of the DJ booth on the first tier (or whatever you want to call it) closest to the go-go girl dancer. I was wearing a white shirt with tye-dye looking stains on it and my roommate was wearing a blue one.
My boy Dave (Dave`Avid) got to meet them when they were in Minneapolis and they were nice enough to shake my hand after the show. Overall a great night. I wish I'd have made it out to the afterhours party, Kael told me today that they spun somewhere afterwards. Maybe next time.
Aight hope to see everyone at Ferry next week. Me and Kael and some friends will most likely meet up at a bar beforehand - I'll start a new thread about that, if anyone else wants to join us you're more than welcome, we'll figure out the bar by the middle of the week.

They played at a barbecue/house party in Glendale Heights (around Villa Park suburb). Josh walked out of the club and chatted with us for a few minutes and then he picked up some drunk girl in a pink dress and walked off, up Dearborn Ave. with her. We went to the beach instead.
I keep missing D&G Girl.
Andy (wolverine16) said he would introduce me at Sasha: never happened
Sean promised to introduce us at G&D: never happened :(

| sounds awesome!.....saw them at the Quest friday night.....set was pretty much the same.....but no Say Hello...and it was also about an hour shorter...thats probably why.....wish i would have drove the 6 hours to see them again...cuz i had an awesome time seeing them! |

lol....i can't hold it against you & josh (or sasha), because your production is brilliant (and mixes of course....they are in heavy rotation at club 310(my address)).
it was my first time seeing sasha friday night, so i didn't know what tools he used.
i was naive to think that beatmatching and holding together mixes were still an important part of all big-name events. i guess when you get big enough, you can do whatever you want. and it probably does work better with a 2 man team.
as far as the show...
mili tore it up. the crowd was at a near frenzy right before g&d came on. superb tracks, mixing, and a perfect setup for the headliners.
there were a few guys on the dancefloor that dance by swinging their elbows around like they are securing a defensive rebound. i saw a lot of people get elbowed hard, and it was a bit of buzzkill to see those s, being ignorant s.
anyway, once again, g&d sets vision on fire. people were going nuts. anthems were spaced out nicely, and i think it's really hard to overkill the eqing with the type of tracks that were played. the pop remixes certainly got people going.
it was fun to meet jenniferene and entertaining to watch her stumble around on stage :D (post your pics!)
nice to chill with d&ggirl again, and to meet ctprincess. |
