Power Surge

Did anybody else experience that crazy power surge this afternoon? My speakers have been doing a wierd humming sound ever since

Yup.. luckily I have a UPS.. but went off for a fraction of a second at home

yea, my router got pwnd, had to reset my username / password /settings ect.
lost my bookmarks on my other comp......
was playing counterstrike at the time my screen went blank and can also assume that i got pwnd in teh game :tongue2

yea, felt it at work and it was a little destructive. it somehow knocked out the ethernet interface on one of our on-air machines, so it was a bit of a scramble to get it back up quickly. *pushes glasses back up*

same thing happened in the West end - Dt core seemed to ok though....

happened in guelph too...everything in the grocery store flickered off then back on in like a split second...didnt think twice about it though..

Kitchener as well.. isn't the first time this has happend here though in the last week!

'tis weird cause both (brand new) dells in my office shutdown, while an old ibm netvista stayed on like nothing happened. i guess these newer power supplies are more sensitive? thats the only logical reason i can think of
