I finally lsitened to this mix :)
The mixing was superb. The only thing I didn;t like was that the first track was sooooo long, I think it could have finished a few mins earlier. The rest of the playlist was great (as I mentioned before). Keep this up dude - its great! |

Haha, you hit it right on. The guy who opened for me decided to take the needle off of the turntable once he grabbed his last record while i was searching in my record case for my 2nd track.
The funniest part was that it wasn't his needle, it was the clubs.!:rolleyes: So here i am scrambling to get my needle out and get it on the tonearm while the first track was playing. I was planning on bringing in the 2nd track much much much earlier but figured oh well.
Then to make it even better, the same guy came back with the needle and as he was attempting to put it next to the turntable he bumped the booth and both records skipped. But the weird part was that they didn't really miss a beat. It sounds weird but they didn't jump to a point where things completely fell apart.
Thank god the crowd didn't notice it :crazy:

lol thats awesome that they didn't skip a beat - very lucky.
thats a great story as well - i would ahve smacked that dj upside the head for making you work so hard when your only just starting your set. |
