Lol, lets all humilate the n00b with our million dollar set-ups. Sooooooooo sad. All I have to say is you can have 2 Tech M5G's, 2 CDJ-1000's, 1 EFX-1000, a Xone:V6 and any other obscenely priced equipment you want to add on and still be a gigantic asshat of a DJ.

I learned a lot on my old VMX :p Behringer isn't that crappy for us poor people :)
dknylady
well i have a behringer djx 700 and while it's not at all perfect, it's been ok enough to use for 2 years now. there's no way i could afford a pioneer mixer, and believe it or not , not everyone can!!!

personally i've spent a few thousand on vinyl alone and that was (and still is) a priority over a top of the line mixer for me.

well good luck with your new mixer and hopefully it lasts you long enough till you can afford a nicer one!

I started off with a Vmx 300, four years ago. It taught me a lot since i was never worried about screwing around with it unlike the DJM600 and the soon to come Denon Dn-x1500. My advice for starters, get it and dont hold back on it, its a great cheap tool to learn stuff :D

if you want to beat the out of it, i suggets you start saving for a new mixer.. that behringer isnt gonna last more than 1 year if you manhandle it. ive seen multiple behringers die. crackly faders mainly, and just extreme overall wear on the mixer.

careful.
