| Hi, I searched on this matter here and nothing came up. I want to start remixing songs (Most preferably Rap for now) and I looked at one of the stickies and it said that ReCycle is a good software for remixing. I want to know if anyone has this and if they've worked with it (is it good or not, or are there any better softwares. Next thing I wanted to know is that how do I get to remix the song. I am not planning to send my remix to any label and see if they accept it or whatever. I just want to do it without consulting the record label. If I have the mp3 on my computer can I just put that onto the program and start to remix there? Also I see how some remixers get just the voice (not the song, and edit it) , if u guys can tell me how to do that, I'll be more than happy. |

i'd say go get flstudio, get the a capella of the track you want to remix, and start creating beats and stuff on flstudio and import the a capella... |

| yeah you need the acapella version (which means no instruments only voice) of a track, search for it on the p2p networks |

drag the acapella from fl browser into lower part of the playlist section |

| Ok I tried that but it's not working. I went to FL Browser on the side of the screen and clicked on it. After that I went to Browse extra search directories and chose the directory but that's pretty much all you can do. You can't choose a specific file. |

| O my bad, I got it. After I clicked on the directory it made a little category in the view browser. I then right-clicked on the category which is My Shared Folder and it opened the actual folder. I then dragged the accapella (Lean Back Remix) and put it on the lower part of the playlist. But what I'm trying to figure out is how to play the song. Any suggestions? |

You don't even need to drag it if you had FL Studio 5, all you have to do is click the bottom portion of the Playlist and open the file, Stretch the accapella to the BPM that you have ur song set to, you can do this by clicking the upper left corner of the accapella. I'd suggest adding some Reverb/Delay and EQ/Compression.
What do u mean by playing the song? Making the song with the accapella or listening to the accapella. If ur making the song its totally up to u how u make it, if u want to hear the accapella just click the tab under Pat labeled song, it's right next to the Play button. After doing that click play and it should play. |

| Ok nvm what I asked about the mp3 to wav converter thing cuz I just downloaded one from download.com. So I converted the file that I wanted from mp3 to wav so flstudio 4 can read it. Now I put the file onto the program, and I took it to the bottom part of the playlist section. Now I don't know what to do. Please help. |
