Well obviously there are probably better, but for $1000+ (if not please let me know). Anyway, a year ago I was thinking about picking up a pair of studio monitors and these were the best I could find for the price. I didn't end up getting them, but now since I really need a pair, I was thinking about getting them since there pretty cheap compared to about a year ago.
But before going in and getting them, just curious... Are there any other's that I should concider before purchasing these?
Here are the specs: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/BX8-main.html
Thanks.
BTW. My soundcard is an Audiophile 2496.

| I considered them... but after some field testing I found the sound quality in Tannoy Reveal Active monitors better. |

| they are what i use personally, although i guess that makes me bias. i did a pretty extensive research on monitors and ended up settling w/ these |

after my testing sessions, i definately favoured the event tr6,tr8's.
(tested: samson, krk, event, m-audio, behringer, blue sky (out of my price range) and a few others i'm forgetting) |

in my ears they sound like e, they have a very harsh sound that my ears can't stand for even a minute. BUT that's my ears and not yours, if you think they sound good then they do! :) Just make shure that you compare them with a few other brands to get an objective look of it.
Just remember, always follow your ears and not someone elses, if they sound good to you then they are good for you ;) |
